God's Cap

When I was a little girl my Mom told me I was born with "God's cap."  She said it's a white film that covers a baby's head when they are born.  She said that being born with God's cap usually meant that the baby would have some sort of health challenge or mental condition but that in my case it meant I was special and that God would always watch over me.  It meant I would be protected.

It's the best bedtime story she could have ever told me.  I was blessed from Day 1 and I believed it in my heart.  The mountains move not because of who I am, but because of whose I am.
