So.. I'm a lover of beautiful, high performance beasts which I affectionately refer to as "My Horses." Here is Robb Report's Car of the Year for 2012 which is now part of my Dream Stable! Green is my favorite color! The month of March reminds me of the color green. To me, March = Spring = Rebirth = Renewal March is also my birth month. I will be 33 this year! I can't wait to celebrate! I remember asking a client years ago what she was going to do on her birthday. Her answer, and I quote, "Cry." Goodness me oh my! Remember:  Not everyone made it!   Rejoice in having the gift of a year lived! Rejoice in having the gift of a new day. Each and every day! Love life and life will love you back!

I baked cupcakes last night for one of our staff members! The day of her birth is today! I baked chocolate cake and used vanilla icing and chocolate fudge icing. I also used my extensive collection of sprinkles... :) I'm a big fan of variety! I read this on Facebook today.   I don't know if this is true or not; regardless, it warms the heart. "So today I was in Hallmark buying my mom a Happy Birthday card when I noticed this old man standing in front of the Valentine's card section contemplating which one to get. I decided to go over and I ask him “Are you getting a Valentine’s Day card for your wife?” to which he replies 'No, my wife died 3 years ago from breast cancer but I still buy her roses and a card and bring them to her grave to prove to her that she was the only one that will ever have my heart.'"

Being home is nice... there is nothing like it!  I went to Vegas then Denver, some business, some pleasure.  But I still wanted to get home to the Cheese to my Macaroni... :) I read the following in a SkyMall magazine.  It is the " You Are... Traveling this week!  Spent some time in Las Vegas, Nevada the past few days recruiting and talking to prospective new agents. I had the opportunity to swing by the Wynn Las Vegas and get some of the best Mango Sorbet I have ever had! Wynn Lobby Pizza Place is THE place to go for sorbet and gelato. Pizza Place Check out their awesome display!     What makes the experience even better is the decor... And their waterfall!

He's signing a brand new book I had to buy at the NAA Agent Resource Center because I forgot to bring my books!   I have six of his books and not one in my luggage when I arrived to Raleigh NC! (Probably because I didn't put them in my luggage...) Life Lessons... :)

Braden (#136, Lawrence Childers) finished 13th overall in the Atlantic Rally Moto Cup with a time of 1:22:30. He finished 5th in his class (Motorcycle Dakar) . Here is a graph of position changes (Braden is the white line):

I changed something.  I changed something that has been sitting in the back of my mind begging to be changed.   The header of my blog originally said: The Road to Lifestyle A Journey to Success:  As Told by a Writer, Artist, Leader, and Friend But I've been thinking... that's not right at all! I talk to my agents about what I call "redefining their success" all the time. What does it mean?  It means I am a success every day of my life. When I make a recruiting follow up call, my success is the fact that I did what I said I was going to do. I picked up the phone and I made the dial.   I said I'd call at 2:00 PM EST.  And it's 2:00 PM EST... or maybe even 1:59 PM EST. I don't care if they answer, I can't control that.  But I can control myself. I can discipline myself and take personal responsibilty for my life and my actions. And I can be PROUD of that! I can feel a sense of accomplishment and victory from that. So it's not a journey

Sandblast Rally 2012 Update! The SHAKEDOWN  Braden finished the shakedown safe and sound! "What is that?," was my response. Per Braden, a shakedown is "a practice section to make sure the bike is set up and good mechanically." Makes sense! Last week I was in Indianapolis, Indiana and I had a quite yummy adult beverage. It was a S'mores Tini.   It was absolutely delectable! I drank the drink before I thought about taking a pic to show you all! :) But I got the ingredients: Whipped Vodka Dark Creme de Cacao Baileys Frangelico Half & Half Marshmallow Fluff Graham Cracker Crust (Rim) Chocolate Marbled Glass Giant Campfire Marshmallow You'll have to test it out to get the proper amounts for each item! It's worth trying to figure it out though! Enjoy!

 Braden and Goodies took off yesterday for the Sandblast Rally ! As you may or may not be aware, Goodies is Braden's Road Buddy for the trip and for the race! Can you find him in the picture above? :) Goodies, that is, not Braden...   Braden did some work on the bike in preparation.  It is now white with black rims. Looks pretty sweet! I am so very proud of Braden for all of his hard work! He'll be number 136 and starting 27th. The race is on Saturday!  I'll keep you all posted on the results!
